Our nurse practitioners are highly qualified in giving advise and treatment for minor illness and injuries as well as being able to prescribe, both over the phone or as a face to face consultation. They both also specialise in diabetes management.
Specialist Paramedic
Charlie
Charlie is our Specialist Paramedic who works very much like our Nurse Practitioners. He has a wealth of experience in emergency and urgent care, can discuss treatment and give advice over the phone as well as face to face examination. Charlie is a prescriber having completed a Masters degree is Primary Care, and has also been trained on a specialist scope called a Dermatoscope to examine moles and other lesions.

Our highly trained and experienced practice nurses are skilled in various areas including wound dressings, immunisations, ear syringing, blood tests, vaccination advice, new patient registrations, blood pressure monitoring, dietary / weight management support, management of respiratory disease, diabetes and heart disease, baby immunisations, smoking cessation, smears, young persons’ clinics and contraception advice.
Phlebotomist

Our phlebotomist Lucy joined us from the hospital in 2021 and has brought with her, her vast experience of taking blood samples, even from the trickiest of veins! She is very experienced and is great at putting our patients at ease. She is available Tuesday – Friday, usually between the hours of 09:15 – 12:20.
Healthcare Assistant

Our HCA are very experienced in many aspects of general healthcare. Areas of specialty include chronic disease annual health checks, NHS health checks, smoking cessation, suture removal, b12 injections, shingles and pneumonia injections and weight management.
