Training Practice

Dr Arumemi, a Partner at Yorkleigh Surgery, is also our GP trainer and education lead.

As a training practice, we will be hosting qualified doctors undertaking advanced training to become GPs. This means you may occasionally be seen by a GP Registrar under the supervision of our experienced team.

Here’s what you can expect from our training practice status:

Enhanced Learning Environment

Our Practice has been carefully selected to support the professional development of GP Registrars. This involves providing a conducive learning environment, access to a wide range of clinical cases, and exposure to various aspects of general practice.

Continued excellence in care

Rest assured, our core values and commitment to delivering healthcare services remain unchanged. The addition of GP registrars only strengthens our capabilities and ensures that we are always at the forefront of medical excellence.

A collaborative approach

Training GPs fosters a culture of collaboration, where knowledge is shared, and innovative approaches to patient care are encouraged. This benefits not only our team but also translates to a richer experience for you, our valued patients.

Your role in the training process

You will be asked if you are comfortable with seeing a trainee before your consultation and you may request that you are only seen by a GP. Your consent and participation are invaluable in this training endeavour. Your cooperation will contribute to the growth and development of future healthcare professionals.

Thank you for your ongoing trust and support. Together, we are shaping the future of healthcare!
