We are extremely shocked and saddened to hear of the unexpected death of our colleague Dr Andrew Green on the 9 May 2026.
Dr Andrew Green was a much loved and respected member of the practice and will be sorely missed by staff and the patients he supported and cared for with such dedication.
Dr Andrew Green qualified at Birmingham University in 1990 and was a GP at Yorkleigh Surgery for 31 years.
The team at Yorkleigh Surgery would like to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Dr Andrew Green’s family and our thoughts are also with colleagues and patients who knew him well.
We ask if you could kindly bear with the practice team as we support one another and prioritise care for our patients during this very difficult time.
Patients are invited to offer condolences via a memorial book in the surgery’s waiting room area. These messages will be shared with Dr Andrew Green’s family.
